CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 14 A vessel caught fire in Lytteltcn Harbour this morning, and as it was 'impossible to save her she was sunk in thirtyfour feet of water. , MILITARY OFFENDERS. A SPECIAL PRISON. \ j WANGANUI, Dec. 10th. The Hon. T. M. Wilford, Minister for Justice, states that lie intends taking over tho Wanganui gaol and convering it into a prison to be used for military offenders.
