BRITISH AIRSHIP’S VICTORY. LONDON December 4. The British Headquarters correspondent in Italy reports that the first shots have bet]n , tired between, film British and Germans. In an aerial b'attle four (British aeroplanes flojw over the enemy lines near the Alpine foothills. Five Germans attacked and one was- downed. Later the British engaged twelve enemies, and seriously damaged two. The rest wore driven back. ITALY’S PREMIER. PARIS, Dec. 4. Premier Orlando, in an interview, said the Allies had concluded the conference and would be more compact, better armed, stronger from a military point pf view. Italy had responded superbly, after her reverse. The courage of her Army was unimpaired. It ha'd held back the advancing floods.
