GERMAN NAVAL REVOLT.
particulars OF THE mutiny,
• Received, this day at 8.45 a.m. I AMSTERDAM November 25. j Weigat, boatswain on the dreadnought j Ki-onprinz, who participated in the Kiel j mutiny, cabled on October 15th. has es- ! *.-aped to Holland. Interviewed he stated three hundred sailors on the Kro-n----prinz and Schleswig were ordered to proceed to the submarine school for instruction. They decided to revolt-. When the Ivronprinz men were paraded for departure they refused to leave. Admiral von Schmidt- struck Velmann, the men’s leader, and Velma nn returned the blows and floored the Admiral. The officers fired their revolvers at the mutineers who used their rifles and knives. There were hand to hand conflicts and seven officers including tho Ad- | were thrown overboard, only the AdI miral being rescued. Military police ' hoarded the Kronprinz and the mutineers surrendered. 'Six of the leaders were shot, and many others sentenced to twenty years.
