WELLTGTON November 14. It is understood that the South Island Electoral Boundaries Commissioners have not reinstated Akaroa and surrounding parts of Banks Peninsula in tile Ellesmere electorate, hub have retained them in the Lyttelton electorate. The Cliertsev Hotel, which the Boundary Commissioners proposed to include in the “dry” electorate of Ash burton is now included in the “wet” electorate of Ellesmere.

MacDonald, of Westport, member of the Board of Trade has been appointed by Cabinet to control, with the Board’s assistance the puremise and distribution of wheat in the Dominion.
