A wedding of much interest was

celebrated n't St. Patrick’s Church Greyniouth, on Tuesday morning, the Citli inst., when Miss Mary Edith -Williams, eldest, daughter of Mrs H. Williams, of Blaketown, was married to Air. George Samuel Furness, oldest son of Mrs A. Furness, Preston Road. The ceremony was performed by the Very Rev. Lean Carew. The bride, who wa s given away by her uncle, Air. Al. Coakley, looked very sweet in a dainty frock of white silk, with large silk hat with orange blossoms, and carried a white ivory prayer book, tied with long streamers of ribbons to match the frock, a gift" of Miss Ruby Shoahaii (cousin of the bride), The bride was attended by her sister, Aljss Kathleen Williams ns bridesmaid, who wore s pretty white silk dress with white hat to match, and carried a white ivory prayer book tied with treamers of ribbon to match' the dress. Atiss Ruby Sheehan wore a pretty grey voile coat frock, with large pink picture hat. Tile bridegroom was attended by Mr. R. N. Furness as best man. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a' beautiful sot of military brushes. Tbe bridegroom’s present to the bride was a beautiful gold pendant and brooch, and to the bridesmaid a gold brooch. After the ceremony 'the guests were entertained Jat a very sumptuous breakfast, at the residence of the bride, and given by the bride’s aunt (Airs .\. Sheahan). The happy couple left by the afternoon train for Reeffon, en route to West-port whore the honeymoon will be silent. The bride wore a dark green coat frock, with grey and pink hat. The bride and bridegroom wore the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents, including several cheques.
