DAY OF PRAYER

The enemy is striving jby desperate assault and 1 subtle intrigue to perpetrate, wrongs already committed. To stem the tide and free civilisation we yet have to com plete the great task to which we dedicated ourselves. T would call upon jou to devote a special day of prayer tnan we may have the clear sightedness and strength necessary for victory in our cause. This victory will he gained only if we steadfastly remember the responsibilities resting upon us, and in a spirit of reverent! obedience, ask the blessing of Almighty God upon our endeavours. Let us seek to be enlightened in our understanding, fortified in courage and in facing the sacrifices no may yet have to make. I therefore appoint January 6th, the first Sunday in the New Year To be set aside as a special day of prayer and thanksgiving in all churches throughout mv Dominions.”
