Sleight- of Hand led out of the ] straight, with King Star and Rorke’s Drift next. Client ran into third,place 1 rounding the back, and at the top of the straight the Elevation gelding had taken charge. At tlie distance Snub and Menelaus joined Client. Menej laus went on to win by half a length from his stable mate Johnny Walker, who came with .a fast run at the finish. Snub was a length further back third. Time 3.25 1-5.
