GERMAN GENERALS CONFER
(Received this day at 12.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, November o. Generals Hindenburg and Ludendorff held a two day’s conference at Berlin. The greatest secrecy was preserved, but it is stated an agreement was not reach ed. GERMAN POLITICS. (Received this day at 12.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 5. Herr Hertlimg has accepted Herr Ilelfferich’s resignation. It is expected that Hertling will make a statement in the Reichstag on the 22nd regarding (Germany’s and Austria’s readiness for peace. M. Czernin is coming to settle the terms of the statement.
GERMAN DEMANDS. STATED TO BE INCREASED. (Received This ”t 11.25. a.m.) PARIS, Nov. sth. The “Matin’s” Zurich correspondent states General Hindenburg presided at a great military and political council. Ludendorff and most members of the Federal Council attended. It is reported that they dealt with the probable revision of war aims, in the direction of increasing their demands on the Entente.
