Aleanwhile, her parent decides to rescue his child from the loveless existence to which he lias condemned her. The matron of the orphanage an unlovely mnd {naliciou s maiden of j middle age, substitutlse her own niece, : a girl of spiteful and mercenary character in the place* of Alolly 0 whom her I "father is, of course, unable to recognise. Eventually, after the false Molly has proved bereslf a thoroughly bad lot, the real Alolly comes into her own, >and everything ends joyously. There are laughs and tears in plenty, as for instance, when "Alolly O discovers that the doggie she adopted as a fellow orphan is the mother of a family, and the discovery by Alolly O that Mrs Grimes does not intend to mother her, but to use her as a drudge. One can see the tears stealing down lier face, and there will be many wet eyes in sympathy, with poor wistful Alolly 0. The star feat'll re will be supported' by the big laughing L.K.O. 2000 ft. comedy “Spike’s Busy Bike.”
