The House met at 2.30 p.m MEAT TRUST.
The House spent all the afternoon sitting in discussing the report of the Committee on the American Meat! Trust, The report was adopted, and ordered to lie printed ALL TKACHERS EXEMPTED.
At the evening sitting, the. House discussed and passed through all stages the' Expeditionary Forces AmendmentHill, with an amendment exempting from -Military Service all school teachers, including Marist -Brothers. Clause 12 was amended, depriving deserters of civil rights. OTHER CLAUSES.
A new clause for the validation of sentences passed by a Court .Martini was agreed to by>B3 to 28.
A new clause was also agreed to exempting the last son in the family, of which three or more sons are already at the front. The House rose at 4-.15. n.m.
