GREY STIR REPORT.

Corporal M. F. Mullins son of Mrs. F. Mullins of Kamaka, reported on the 16th inst. as having died of wounds on ' the Bth. inst., is now .rported to De severely wounded. Tlie error is an unfortunate one, but one cannot expect perfection in lesser things than the i compilation of casualty lists at the front. It is hoped that more re-as-suring news of the popular young corporal’s progress towards recovery w l! be received.

[Out of consideration for Mr. Mullins’ feeling our contemporary might have expressed itself differently. In any case "the unfortunate error • will he much appreciated by Hi*" so 1 - d:er.]
