IMPORTANT LAND SALES.

On Friday 26th October at the Home stead, Wataroa, a sale of considerable importance ill take place when the executor of the late Joseph Burrough will offer his well known freehold and leasehold farms of 1369 acres together with 60 head of fat and forward cattle. 260 ewes and lambs, 126 hoggets, horses, harness and numerous farm implements, etc. etc. For the information of those interested it has been decided to offer the property in two lots as follows: —Lot 1 comprises the Homestead Section No. 1680. of 133 acres 2 roods 22 perches freehold, together with Section 3322 of OBJ- acres occupation license, These sections are well and securely fenced and sub-divided. On the homestead block there is erected a new five | roomed residence, sheep dip, yards cte. etc.

Lot 2 comprises: Section 2431 of 237 acres 1 1 eld under Renewable Lease. Section 2325 of 200 acres L.I.P and Miscellaneous Leases No 819 of .500 acres and No. 450 contained 200 acres. Total acre a ire of Lot 2—1137 acres.

The above properties are all splendidly grassed and in good heart, and the stock turned oir same have a inr famed reputation. In addition to above there will be offered two freehold town sections with shops thereon situated in the Strand Okarito, also 20 f.p.u Wataroa Dairy Factory and 5 f.p.u shares in the Saleyards Coy. The sale will take place on Friday 26th October commencing at 10 a.m. sharp. Messrs V . Jeffries and Co. are the auctioneers and all particulars may he had on application to them or Messrs Park and Murdoch, dicitor* to the Estate.

At Wataroa Sale Yards on Thursday next at 2 p.m., Messrs TV. .Jeffries and Co., will submit to public auction Mr. H. H. Adamson’s farm of 13S acres situated at Tlnri Hari, being Renewable Lease No. 141, wjjth frontage of about 30 chains to Main South Road. This property contains a fair amount of good milling timber and would make, a suitable bolding paddock. Further par ticulnrs may he had on application to the auctioneers.
