AUSTRIAN REINFORCEMENTS
ON THE ISONZO FRONT.

(Received ties day at 1.20 a,m.>) "^1 LONDON, Oct. 16. Mr. W. Jeffries reports the fiercest fighting yet on Bainsizza Plateau. The enemy’s artillery is heavier, and more distributed.- Reinforcements of Austrians frbm the Russian front are more intense. Airmen report the roads are filled wih troops and material. The Austrians are also reinforcing Isonzo from .Trentino. The total reinforcements since August,'&r« probably a hundred thousand, doubling the number thar* previously.
