HADDOW—GOOCH
A quiet wedding took/ place last Wednesday at the Prebyt-erian Manse. The contracting parties were Miss Margaret- Gooch, daughter of Mrs \Y. Gooch, of Stafford street, and Mr William ffaddow, moulder at the Westland Engineering Works. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. P. B. Fraser. Miss Lily Wilson attended the bride as bridesmaid, and Mr Cot-h----ard Cederman acted in the capacity of best man. The bride was given away by her brother, William. After tbo wedding ceremony tbe guests were entertained at tbe residence of tbe bride’s mother, where t-lie usual toasts wege proposed and honoured. The wod'ding presents were hbtli numerous and costly. Subsequently the happy fcorip!e\ motored to Lake ’Kanieri, where the honeymoon will be spent;:
