Tho first ballot for members of tho Second Division will take place on Monday, Oct. 29th when a selection from Class A. wall bo made. The selected men have been transferred from Class A. to other classes, leaving somo 15,000 in tho first class and these, should be sufficient to fill at least two reinforcement draits. Owinr to the promised furlough t/> tho survivors of the Main New Zealand Expeditionary Force having lieon cancelled, it is understood that tinmonthly quota of reinforcements wil' shortly be still further reduceu.
It is stated that the Class C. 1. men and the men whoso appeals wore adjourned sine die, but are now being called up, will practically bo absorbed by January, n few men having received extended leave until after the harvest.
