HELP FOR SOLDIERS.
FINANCIAL ASST STAN CE FROM GOVERNMENT.
Mail}* soldiers consult the Patriotic Societies as to the best means of applying' to the Financial Assistance Board. Tb avoid loss ot time, soldiers or soldiers’ dependents who wish to apply to the Board through the Patriotic Societies, should have the following information available when attending at the office:—
(i) Amount of rent paid and dale when due; name and address of landlord or agent. ,
(2) Amount of mortgage; name and address of mortgagee; nature of security covered by mortgage; rate of interest and amount due.
(3) Instalments payable on furniture, sewing machines, or other goods; invoice ot original purchase; sum paid oil; how instalments are payable, balance owing ; name and address ot vendoi 01 agent. (4) Produce life insurance policy if possible; if not, supply name of insurance company, name ot person insured, amount ot policy, amount of premium, and date when policy was issued. Supply same particulars for fire insurance where they are applicable. (5) In ease of rates and taxes, state situation of property, nameot street, street number of property, or Riding or district of County or Board 1 amount of rates, and local bode to which rates must be paid.
