Replying to a deputation, the Minis-, tor of Naval service stated the department has been re-organised with a view of meeting the forthcoming demand for more recruits. Ho emphasised the need that the army should he well balanced and the civil population should do the- necessary warwork and maintain a healthy public opinion. Aren of all military ages must he recruited and some men of all ages must remain at home.
