German official:—A French attack between Samogneux and Beaumontvacher—Anvill road, on a front of twenty miles, was repulsed with heavy losses.

German official.—Our cavalry is successfully fighting the enemy rearguard seventy kilometres eastward of Riga. The enemy set fire 4° villages between Lobe Lake and Frdodrichstadt. The booty captured included forty guns, 22 of which were of large calibre.
