, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th. Tho quarterly meeting of the above Committee was held at noon to-day. Present—Messrs T. Hutchison, S.M., (chairman), ,f. J. Breeze, F. McGregor and C. J. Nightingale. .Tasc. AfcCarthy, Transfer 'Ahaura Hotel, Aliaura, to Edward Mitchell. — Granted. Agnes McVicar transfer Orwell Creek Hotel to Isabella Levy.—Granted.
The police at Kumara reported that the licensee had left the premises of the Railway Hotel Kumara Junction, with out obtaining leave of absence. The matter was directed to he left in the hands of the police to investigate. This concluded the business and the meeting terminated.
