INVESTMENTS at HOKITIKA. Investments in tho War (Loan at the Hokitika Post Office are now showing more life. This morning over £IOOO was invested chiefly in 5% bonds [PER I’REHH ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.j TIMARU, August 29. At tho Geraldine stock sale to-day two or throe short speeches were made on the war loan and in response to the appeal forty farmers among, those present subscribed £20,000.
