GERMAN THREATS.
TO HOLLAND AND DENMARK

Received this day at 2.36 p.m.,) WASHINGTON, Aug 23. The State Department is informed that Germany has threatened she will not give Holland any more ship steel unless Holland agrees that ships constructed there shall be used in the interest of Germany for, the duration of the war and five veal's thereafter. She has also informed Holland that she must send miners to Germany if she desires more than a certain allotment of coal. j It is understood that Germany is using the same tactics to Denmark.
