Many enemy positions in the Isonzo have been reduced to dust. Austrian supports are hurrying up. ITALIAN SUCCESS. (LONDON August *B. Italian official —Northward of Anhavo we over came the enemy’s resistance and threw numerous pontoons across the Isonzo and crossed to the loft bank. We crossed the enemy’s first line between Plava and the sea, despite a desperate resistance. Two hundred and eight aeroplanes participated and we bombarded the enemy’s reserves. Infantry and artillery fighting is vigorously proceeding. The enemy’s Tosses are most serious. We took considerable booty, including guns, and machine guns. There are 7.600 prisoners already counted.
