Lloyd George contemplates a general eleotion if the Labour Conference adheres to its intention to take part in the Stockholm Conference. . NEW SITUATION DISCUSSED. LONDON August 15. The Labour Executive including Mr. Henderson discussed the new situation with regard to the conference. The petition of the party at present is vague. Some Labourites resent Mr Henderson’s exclusion from the Cabinet. THE NEW' MINISTERS BILL. Received, this day at 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, August 15. - The House of Lords amended the New Minister Bill limiting the reconstruction of .Ministers functions to matters arising as a natural consequence of the war. Lord Salisbury explained that the object was to prevent experimenting in pot subjects.
