He proposes the solution of the future of Alsace-Lor-raine, the Trentino, and' Trieste according to the aspirations of the people and propose the restoration of the ancient Kingdom of Poland. Belgium and the occupied French departments could be exchanged for the Gorman colonies. FURTHER. DETAILS. WASHINGTON August 14. An unofficial outline of the Pope’s peace proposals show that they include reduction of armament, freedom of the seas, and that there be no re-, taliatory struggle after the war for the world’s commercial supremacy.
