ARAHURA STOCK SALE
At the a’ ove yards yesterday there was a yarding of 70 head of fat cattle all of which could be classed prime Competition was keen throughout the sale at late prices, with an unsatisfied demand at tho conclusion of the fixture, several buyers leaving short supplied. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co., sold for Mr. H. Johnstone: Six bullocks from £ll 12s fid to £l4. For Mr. Jas. Thomson: three bullocks at £l2; two heifers at £10; five cows from £ll 17s fid to £l4 fid. For Mr. H. Diedrich: twenty-two bullocks from £l6 2s 6d to £2O 12s fid; eleven heifers from £l3 15s to £l4 12s fid.
Messrs G. W. Moss and Co., sold for Messrs J. and S. Wallace: twenty-one bullocks from £l4 10b to £l9 2s fid; three cows from £lO 7s fid to £ls 10s.
