O u Monday evening next ot tho Princess Theatre Pollard’s Pictures will present th© renowned actress Alice Brady in the World Film fivc-act production,: “Tangled Fates,” tho story of a sister’s sacrifice to save her younger sister from disgrace. In the part of Jan©, th© elder daughter of a narrowminded and prominent member of the Morals Committee, Alice Brady gives a pathetic and artistic representation of tho self-sacrificing woman who, taking her sisters • disgrace upon herself is driven from horn© into the busy city, where she suffers many hardships, that are added to by lier marriage with tho ne’er-do-well son of a wealthy merchant. Tho scenes of tho play shift from tho country town to the bleak cold mining scenes of Alaska, and on to Now \ork, amid high society. ‘Tangled Fates” is a well-staged melodrama, with a cleverly developed plot and interesting story. The star actress is well supported by Mr Arthur Ashley, and the drama ia shown in conjunction with th© Topical Budget, “Honfleur” (Franco), and the comedy “Jerry’s Masked Ball.”
