POLLARD'S PICTURES. ! BILLIE (BURKE—MONDAY. ! I On Monday evening next the Fifth Chapter of “Glorias Romance,” “The Gathering Storm,” will feature Billie Burke as “Gloria” in the full glare of worldly society, but dark clouds gather round, bringing darker problems. The dainty Constance Talmadge will make her debut as a dramatic star in th 6 briliant Triangle Fine Arts drama, “The Microscopic Mystery.” The play'includos a murder mystery, a love story, and a fascinating science lesson, all in one. The story i s a particularly fine one, the first part being satirical comedy which is interrupted by a tragic murder. Wilfred Lucas, who plays “Doctor Arnold,” by a clever piece of detective work with the use of the microsoope, assigns tlie guilt to the right person- Tho play takes its title, “The Microscopic Mystery,” from the fact that the microscope enters personally into the plot of tho story, and there are shown some peeps at marvellous germs and insects. The consumption bacillus alive and in movement is shown.
