In his report for tho month of June the Aline Manager of the Murray Creek Gold Alining Company states tl/Sf? No 4 level lias been extended a further 83 feet makingt-he total distance from flic shaft 932 feet. The first 31 feet was driven on an average width of 3 feet, and the balance of 52 feet in reef formation. In order t°- make a connection with the winze .for ventilation the driv© has been turned, /is to continue on the old lines the drive would reach apoint -CO feet east of the winze. The total quantity of ore sent t,o the mill for tho month is 1431. The following telegram has been received from the batftery superintendent: “Ore crushed 1287, to n s, Amalgamgold 876 oz. value about £3600; cyanide, 60 ozs, value about £IBO concentrates recovered approximately 20 tons gross value £4BO, total gross value recovered about £4260.
