Devalera had plenty of motor cars, speakers and canvassers. A large number of Roman Catholic priests assisted and there was much money from America, believed to ho from a German source. Pessimists among the Redmonitvs say the election shows that no Nationals seat, is now safe outside the city of Dublin. Recent elections prove a large number of tho younger Irishmen have revolted against . the. Nationalist Party machineThe feature of tiki present situation most alarming To Unionists is tho apparent, breakdown of flip, discipline of the Roman Catholic Church. Many teachers in the National School are propagating revolutionary doctrines without any discouragement from the Priests and Bishops. Recent instructions to the clergy aro completely ignored.
