The part of the “Honorable Algy,” as played by Charles Ray, is a splendid impersonation of a fortune-hunting English Lord who. in the end, proves liimaiftlf. a gentleman and a sport, and who, Tiv a force of circumstances becomes entangled in the mystery surrounding the robbery of the famous “Cape Diamond.” This clever drama "was always a big favourite with the New Zealand 1 public when played by tlie Brough and Bouecault Company, and gains in; the ]tiet.iM'ei.satiou on the. screen. The fourth chapter of Gloria’s Romance features Rillie Burke in “The Social Vortex,” and shows Gloria’s entrance into the long-dreamed-of. world of grown-up society, and her entanglement in the. turbulent stream of intrigue anil passion.
