Mr. Ward Price telegraphs—Before the Allies occupied the royalist centre at Volo an auxiliary cruiser kept order for three days by naval hypnotic treatment- The Royalists have been holding noisy meetings in cafes, inflaming licmsclves with blood-thirsty oratory and srong drinks and processioning to the sea front cursing the dogs of Allies and Venezilos.
A cruiser arrived at night time and played a brilliant searchlight among the mob revealing every man’s face and causing the most ferocious orators to stop and slip hastily away. It also dispersed subsequent efforts to hold a mooting by flashing search-lights so suddenly and brilliantly (among the crowd that oven the dieliards were frightened, and respectfully saluted by removing their hats. Thereafter The searchlight was master of the situation.
