TO DEFEND TRIESTE.
Austrian Determination. 1 (Received May 30, at 11.55 a.m.) Rome, May 29 The d’ltada’a Zorich correspondent states the Austrian General Staff Council of War at Labach decided to defend Trieste at &>1 costs, although Generals Falkenhayn and Ludeudorff considering the aituation was hopeless, advised its abandonment, and a withdrawal to a stronger line of defence. The advice, for political reasons, was not accepted at Vienna, where a bitter anti-German feeling prevails.
