Wellington, May 30
The High Commissioner reports, London, 26th May, at 5.30 p.m.:— Italian offioial report —At Plava the enemy has been driven to the end of the valley, io the east of Globna, and we have taken 100 prisoners. On the Julian Alps the captures since 14th May amount to 23,691 prisoners, including 604 officers and 36 guns (including 13 heavies), 148 maohine gnus, 27 trench mortars and a largo quantity of other materiel. v . On the south-east elope of Vodio9, we are overcoming a tenacious resistance. The enemy is hidden in caves. We have importantly progressed and have established oar positions.
