Train Traffic Upheld
Dunedin, May 28 No trains have left for stations south of Moegiel to-day. The railway line in different parts of the Taieri ie under water. There ia also water on tbe line between Lovell’s Flat and Shilling, on the Ontram branch.
Traffic is suspended on the Otago central line. A slip near Salisbury delayed '.ha train,which then proceeds! to Hindoo where a bad slip wa» encountered. Pa'S3ngerß to and- from Clyde had to be transferred. It is reported that Silveratream railway bridge, usar Wingahi, ig out of alignment.
Between Lawrence and Milton tbe train is stuck up by a washout. On Calling branch line tiaffio is alsi disorganising. Tber police hive received word that three families in the flooded area in Taieri Plain are, in danger.
