The' hospital ship La Force alls been sunk with serious loss of life including many German wounded.
LONDON, April 22
The Donegal, a troopship, was almost in sight of England when she was torpedoed in the stern. The vessel carried our slightly wound ed men who did not require the comforts aboard an hospital ships. A strong sea was running and most of the wounded men were, seasick and lying in their berths. There was no pa live.
The Donegal floated for several hours but sank forty-five minutes after the rescuing ships had taken off the last man.
