BERLIN, April 20 The E.’emi-official telegram announcing the termination of the great strike of munition makers on Monday is now admitted to lie premature. German papers state that 250,000 workers in five factories were still idle on Wednesday. A meeting of strikers on Thursday resolved not to resume but to send a deputation to the Chancellor. Various strikes occurred at Leipzig on Monday and Tuesday, and also a great demonstration at .Stottwitz, in protest against the scarcity of food. BERNE, April 20. A wireless message says the Reichstag’s Committee on trade and, industry discussed after the war demobilisation. The Minister of War has intimated the intenton to avoid flooding the country with unemployed, and added that the Government has decided not to dicharge any man until work is found for him.
