The Commissioner explained the result of the opinion which was that the Board had the necessary power to grant the licenee, whan 10, and behold the Board attack a reason why the area should not be granted to a private individual. This was that the tuea might be selectsd by tho-West Cjari Lima Committee. • So the final result is that if the public do not require the area ir. question, that Mr Boddingtou may get it, but if they do think it good enough Mr Boddington will be a disappointed "man, with a big bill to pay for all the expense he has been pat to.
