“Zaza” Monday. The story of “Zaza” the star feature of next Monday’s picture display by Pollards at tbe Princess Theatre tells of “Zaza” (Pauline Frederick) a popular music hall singer inmue of tbe .gayest cabarets in Paris. She leads a gay tempestuous life and is much sought after by the beaux of the city, but from all sh 9 remains heart whole until one night ehe meets Bernhard Dufraoe behind the scene?, and after a flittaticn fab a ia love with him. It is not long before he establishes her in on apartment. Her love for Bsrnbatd is the only real and lasting emotion that “ Zaza” has ev.-r experienced and she dedicates the whole of h.r nature to making him happy. It is therefore a terrible blew to her to find that Bernhard is married add h-:s a li’tle daughter. Stung to the dej'tbi of her savage nature, “ ZazaV thoughts ae centred or revenga aud she sees >n the wife and child a medium, but when the moment arrives the child is the medium that brings out the majesty of the woman’s soul and iu some magnificent scenes “Zaza” proves th I Bhe can love, lose and forgive.
