LONDON, April 10. Wireless Gorman official—The battle of Arras continues. The English, arter several days artillery activity, attacked on Monday following a violent increase in their fire, on a twenty kilometres front. A s the result of hard fighting they penetrated our position on the roads radiating from Arras, hut they failed to break through. Two of our divisions suffered considerably while stubbornly resisting tho superiority of the enemy. We penetrated beyond the third English line southeastward of Ypres. A French attack at Laffaix failed.
