ROYAL PANTOMIME COMPANY

“ Little lack Horner.” The Royal Pantomime Company opened a three nights’ season last night at the Princess Theatre and were greeted with an overflowing, audience who gav9 a very gratifymg reception to the performers. “ Little Jack Horner” proved a distinct suecsss. Miss Kathleen Mack received a hearty welcome back as “Jack’ taking the part distinctly well. Miss Mollis King made a damty and winsome “ Marjorie Daw.” Miss Nedie Power as “ Hass&n ” also sang and acted well. Mies Maud Shipp as “Myrtle,” and Mr Bob Lloyd as “Mrs Horner ” kept the audience in the best of humors. Both are clever actors and neither attempted to overdo the part. Mr Charles Howard was a dignified “ Old King Colo.” He has a splendid voice and the audience would like to hear mora of his vocal abilities. Mr Joe Charles is a clavar actor and sings well. He made the most of the part as the “ Baron Barleycorn.’ 1 The ohorn3 contains some very good voices and this part of tho pantomime was worthy of all praise. The orchestra wi>s distinctly good and was a welcome addition. A number of novelties were introduced the juggling turn-by Pasquala being a very clever performance and he was heartily appreciated. Tonight— 1 Bluebeard” This evening the pantomime Bluebeard will bo produced. Most people are satisfied with one wife. There are a few who can manage with two, but “ Bluebeard ” to-night will show you what happens to the man who not content wtih one or two, baa proclivities which induce him to tackle ten. The mirth-provokad situations which arise will greatly 3muse, and patrons are assured of a night of mirth and delight. The pantomime “ Bluebeard " abounds with funny episode?,beautiful music, delightful ballet, and the thousand and one etceteras which go to make the successful modern production aod has been an enormous success wherever peiformed. The dressing will be again a feature of the productions, last night’s boing generally a dmired.
