French Report.
LONDON, April 4. French Official: East and west of the 'Somme we have continued to progress on t'V the front. We attacked yesterday beyond Ballon as far as Faubourg, to the south-west of St.. Quentin. To the north-cast of Castres wo hare reached tho bonders of Grugis. On the right wo have completely captured Mov sur Loise, south of the Ailette. Fighting has continued on tho borders of Laffaux and In the villago itself, which we penetrated despite tho stubborn resistance of the enemy, who defended it foot by foot.
