AMSTERDAM, April 6. The ex-Czar lias sought the provisional Government’s permission for himself and family to live in retirement in Switzerland. MOSCOW, April 7. The first troops starting for tthe front since the revolution received a splendid send off. flhey carried red banners inscribed i “For a Free Russia,” “For the Future Republic,” “Down with William,” “War to Victory.” General Ivanoff has sworn fidelity to the ‘Govenimient, and has been released under surveillance. PETROGRAD, April 6. There was a national funeral of 180
victims of the revolution and soldiers and civilians participated. Factories shops, and schools were closed.
