POLLARD’S PICTURES.

On Wednesday evening the star feature in the all new display will 1 e a remarkable Griffiths Triangle picture entitled “ Going Straight.” Gan a man and woman live down the past they have buried for a clean future F This is the problem dealt with in the Triangle Fine Arts Griffi»bs production, “ Going Straight,” a four-act remarkable story that features Norma Talmadge and Ralph Lewis in the lending roles. A couple of clever society crooks, who have married and forsaken their evil ways, are faced with an old assooiatp, who threatens to send the woman to gaol unless her husband joins him in one last big coup. In deepfratiou for his wife’s sake, but against her will, the man agrees, and it is planned to enter a well-to-do house in theVabucba, Unknown to the crooks, the woman herself has been invited to stay the night at this particular house, and it is this fact that gives to the picture the most powerful and novel climax imaginable. The picture is lemarkabla for the re-tlism of its portrayal of the life of ihe underworld, and farther for the acting of th 9 clever Triangle children. Their part in the homo life of the married crooks makes a happy and pleasing contrast, and gives a big heart interest tbat Griffiths knows &o well how to introduce. The part of the wife and mother ia taken by Miss Norma Talmadge, who>e sympathetic beauty adds muchjto the enccaes of the feature. This big star feature is well supported by a series of now photoplays.
