Princess Thaatre, Monday On Monday next Pollard’s Pictures present; at tbe Princess Theatre Rtx Beach’s 10,000 ft picture, “ Tbe Ne’er Do Well.” The succese attending their production of “The Spoilers” decided the Selig Company to produce tbo story of “The Ne‘er Do Well, one of tbe best known of Bex Beach’s novels. The book has gained great popularity, and the story is one that lends itself admirably to adaptation for the cinematograph. Such well known and universally popular ar.ists as Kathiyn Williams, Wheeler Oakman and Frank Clary take part, and give of thßir best. The nature of tbe story at once raised many difficult points, but the Sslig Company, with a dosiie for detail and coovincing realism, decided to film tho scenes at Panama, where the scene of the story is laid. Apart from its dramatio interest the picture possesses added interest by reason of the many fine views of thß are included. The story concerns the fortunes of Kirk Antony, who, never Having been faced with the necessity to work, finds himself at a loss whnt to do when stranded at Panama, where he has been despatched while drunk by a namber of friends, who regard the proceedings in the light of a joke, How he pulls Jumeelf togotfier and works to an important, position is tbe point round which the story is written, A pretty love romance invests the story with added charm. The picture is a lengthy on , but there is not a dull moment throughout.
