SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVAL.
The following events were decided yesterday at the local swimming bath, Messrs Bruce aud Hills officiating as judge, etarlere and handioappers. Notwithstanding tbs damp afternoon, several adults attended to witness the sport which was very keen. Ross Schools Championship, either sex, 50 yards, eleven entries—Allan Wickes 1, Garnet Winchester 2, Thelma Roach 3.
School girls, under 12, 25 yards handicap, breast stroke—Thelma Roach 1, Isabel Woolbouse 2, May Woolhouse
School girls, under 14 years, point handicap, 50 yards, breast stroke— Muriel Adamson 1, Dorothy Woolhouisa 2, Thelma Roach 3.
50 yards, any stroke —Muriel Adamson 1, Dorothy Woolhouse 2, Thelma Roach 3-
25 yaide, swum on back —Thelma Roach 1, Dorothy Woolhouse 2. Final reeult —Muriel Adamson, _ 10 points, 1; Dorothy Woolhouse 9 points, 2 ; Thelma Roach, 7 points, 3. Boys’ point handicap, 50 yards breast, 50 yards any stroke and 25 yards on back—Allan Wickes, 15 points, 1 ; Garret Winchester, 9 point?, 2 ; T. Houlabac, 3 points, 3, finishing in this order in each distance.
