The New York Times correspondent at Bordeaux interviewed tbo Amerioan Consul, who re a rued with Mr Gerard. The Consa ! , in a most significant statement, said the Belgian deporta, tious were the greatest horror of the war. When the real reason of the deportation was known, whioh was not the case now, the whole world wilj shudder with horror.
Greek Treachery.
Lausanne, Feb 28
At a meeting recently at the Greek internment camp at Garlitz, cabled on the ‘24th, the soldiers acoused Hatzoppoulos of having betrayed them. He promised their return to Greece, via Monastic, but instead they were deported to Germany. Hatzoppoulou, fearing the consequences has left the district.
