The income of the British Red Cross for the second war year was £3,063,232. The total since the outbreak of the war was over £6,000,000. The management expenses last year were below sevenpence in the ponud. The expenditure on hospitals was £162,703, Red Cross units £270,798, grants to auxiliary bodies £162,220, surplus oarried forward £1,470,644. The society possesses 2522 ambulances, oars, wagons and travelling soup kitohens, of which 1829 are in France.
