The Opera House held a very interested audience last evening when McLean’s Pictures were presented. The star feature was a very fine drama “The Prince and the Pauper," introducing the favorite Marguerite Clark in the title role. It was a very fine picture full of interest throughout. An excellent sup. porting programme included a laughable cartoon, depicting a fishing expedition.

The Charitable Aid Board at its meeting last evening further adjourned a number of matters that had previously come up for discussion at earlier meet, ings, including the Chairman’s report ou proposed re-organising of hospitals which was adjourned till the annual meeting in April. Judging by the romarkß of several members, they will not then be in office when tbe new Board meets, as they intimated their intention of not again ofEer-ng their services for seats ou the Board. There is a possibility of quite a lot of new blood being required when the elections come to hand in a few weeks time.
