“THE Pit INGE AND THE PAUPER.” That McLean’s pictures stand unrivalled for excellence is universally admitted, and in order that the standard of excellence may be maintained none but the best of film is being sleeted for Hokitika people, consequently the management will screen on Friday the World Film Corporation’s five thousand feet of marvel “The Prince and the Beggar," which features the dainty and dimming screen star, Marguerite Clark. The admirers of the delightful little actress are legion, the announcement of her name in the leading part of any picture is a guarantee of the film’s excellence. In tho story of “The Prince and the Pauper’” Miss Clarlc is given admirable opportunities to display her versatility. It is a big human story of unprecedented interest. Delightful scenes in a plot founded upon tho vagaries and disparity of clioracters. All the essentials of a good picture are contained in the latest- production which is bound to maintain the good name earned by the screenings at the Opera House. The supports ore all new, and comprise an excellent variety of all that is new and best in the cinema world.
