AUCKLAND, Jan. 26.—The Board oi Trade returns to Wellington in a day oi two to meet a deputation representing the butter trade with a view to reconsidering ho dominion retail price of butter.

The Arbitration election resulted in the returning of following employers Representative W. Scott, Deputy W. Pryor; Workers Representative J. A. McCullough; Deputy M.'J. Reardon. WELLINGTON. Jan. 25. Delegates from the Waterside Workers’ unions are conferring with employers to-day.
Prisoner Escapees. AUCKLAND, Jan 26. Two prisoners at Mount Eden named Albert McQueen, serving 15 years, and A. J. W. Roberts serving a life sentence for fatally shooting a girl at Christchurch six or seven years ago, escaped from a quarry in which several prisoners were at work this afternoon. They ran towards Newmarket in full view of the public as they ran down the W, railway line. The warders found them hiding in the scrubb .several hundred yards down the line and re-captured them without resistance,
